Chad got an elk on the opening weekend of the archery this year along with his brother Seth. I am so proud of him for hunting so hard and providing meat for us. Not to mention doing all the meat processing this year. Saves us money big time.
I have been canning, canning, canning. I am happy with what I have done so far but I still have lots to do. Our pear tree in the backyard is ready and has enough pears for 3+ families.
Tennis and Penny are doing well. Tennis's speak is coming along more and more now. He is starting to catch up now. YEAH!! Penny is starting to get an attitude. She used to cuddle me and hug me all the time but now he doesn't want to be held unless if I am dancing with her, getting her food or she is crying. She has started singing and dancing so much too. She is most definitely a little girl.
I can't tell you how excited I am for the weather to start cooling off. It makes me want to get out everyday. That doesn't happen as much as I would like but I am still chomping at the bit for the cool weather.
For now that is all.
