Spiders
Spiders are one of the phobias that I haven't ever been able to shake. This time of year we always see more in the house. This year we saw the biggest black widow yet. It was huge. It's body was about the same size of my thumbnail. Totally freaked me out. Tennis loved it.

Tennis is 3
Three years ago today we met our Tennis. He was calm, alert and so snuggly and nothing has changed. He is more today than he was then but definitely not less. We couldn't be more blessed. This morning he woke up and we sang to him, he smiled shyly. As he walked around the room and checked out all the balloons that we had painted I was reminded of his 1st and 2nd birthdays. He was just as curious then as he is now. After he was done checking out bumblebee on a big blue balloon we offered him his first present. He opened it and saw a box of new train pieces and immediately forgot everything else in the room.
This week I have been sick and every time he hears me moan or I lay down he walks over and pats me on the head or strokes my head and says, "You okay?" or "It's okay." or even "Mommy tummy ouchee?" He is so sweet and perceptive. Love him so much.

God's House
When life gets to be to much, as it often does there is one place that we should always go. A place where peace is always present and clarity comes to those that seek it. I have been having a hard time with some things recently and was able to go our ward's Young Women in Excellence program last night. The theme was Preparing to Enter the Temple. The matrons of the Bountiful Temple, newly released, came and spoke. It was uplifting, reassuring and filled me with a new drive to go to the temple more and to all around be a better person and mother. Some of my most peaceful memories come from my trips to the temple. There is an unmistakable sense of love and peace that I feel when I am in the temple. I am so grateful that we not only have one but 7 temples within driving distance. We are so blessed .

Halloween Fun
It get's better every year. Tennis was so excited to be dressed as a Gladiator, or whatever he was. He couldn't have been happier with his costume. I am glad to because it did take a lot of sewing. Penny was the cutest little girl I had ever seen. Her little Red Riding hood cape turned out awesome and she didn't even pull on it or anything. Here are some pics.
